Call for Abstracts - Deadline Extended to March 31, 2009

The Scientific Program Committee is now accepting abstracts for presentation at the WCAM 2009, July 17 - 19, 2009 in Vancouver, Canada.

Please make your electronic submission of your speaker materials to the Scientific Program Committee no later than March 31, 2009.

Please send ALL of the following via email to: info@aestheticmedicine2009.com with the subject heading WCAM speaker submission.

SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY: Up to seventy-five (75) words describing the speaker’s clinical and/or research pursuits and relevance to the lecture topic. If multiple lecturers are giving a single presentation, limit each speaker biography to 35 words for each. Please ensure to include primary speaker contact information.

Please indicate in your submission which themes you would like your abstract to be considered for.

ABSTRACT CRITERIA:

• Abstracts must be in English or will NOT be accepted.
• Indicate theme selections.
• Content shall be pertinent to topic of lecture.
• Focused on clinical interventions.
• Applicable to the specialty of Aesthetic Medicine.
• Content shall be absent of commercial statements and/or product endorsement.
• When mention of a particular product if necessary, opt to generic whenever possible.
• Include a minimum of four (4) references (bibliographic citations) and, if appropriate, resources.
• Limit submission to a maximum of two (2) pages.
• Submit in MS® Word file format.
• Illustrations: submit electronic files as TIF, JPG, or GIF. Colour illustrations are preferable.
• Title should contain no more than 70 characters.
• The rest of the abstract text should include no more than 250 words.
• Single space all typing.
• Do not leave blank lines.
• Authors presenting abstracts must register immediately after hearing their abstract has been accepted.
• Abstracts not conforming to the above guidelines will NOT be accepted.
